DOCOMO PACIFIC supports the Commonwealth Cancer Association’s Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Gualo Rai, Saipan (July 07, 2021) – DOCOMO PACIFIC, regional leader in innovation, telecommunications, & entertainment, supports the first Commonwealth Cancer Association’s Golf Tournament Fundraiser.

The Commonwealth Cancer Association (“CCA”) is a community-based organization focused on the battle against cancer. Through the proud work of the organization, over 200 individuals who are undergoing cancer treatment have received services providing comfort and aid in their recovery processes.

DOCOMO PACIFIC is proud to support the CCA’s first Golf Tournament Fundraiser. To comply with COVID-19 guidelines the annual “Marianas March Against Cancer” has been canceled and this year’s event was a Golf Tournament Fundraiser that took place on June 19, 2021 at the Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort.

While the CNMI continues to navigate through this pandemic and much attention is focused on keeping our community safe and COVID free, we must also remember that many of our people continue their fight with Cancer and they should not be forgotten. Our contribution is dedicated to those still fighting, their families and those who have fought tirelessly.”

CCA’s mission is to advocate for a cancer-free CNMI through early detection, public education, awareness on cancer prevention and screening, and to provide hope and support for cancer patients, survivors, and their families through community partnerships and programs.
