Winners announced for Prepaid Card Art Contest

Guam- Congratulations to the Top 3 winners of DOCOMO PACIFIC's "One Marianas: All of Us Together" Prepaid Card Art Contest. Pictured (from left are) Antonelli Salayon, Christel Ferrer, and Frank Candaso. Last year, we did a call-out for local artists to submit artwork that showcased the unique and beautiful culture of life in the Marianas. Out of dozens of entries, we narrowed it down to our Top 10 finalists and opened online voting on our Instagram and Facebook pages. After receiving over 5,000 online votes, the Top 3 artists with the most votes were awarded a $500 prize and the chance to have their artwork featured on our next special edition prepaid cards.

Congratulations to Frank Candaso for being one of three winners in DOCOMO PACIFIC's "One Marianas: All of Us Together" Prepaid Card Art Contest. About his artwork: "A bit of each island is showcased in this image. From legends, to chiefs, flowers, and birds, and the innovation of the CHamoru People. ONE MARIANAS, ALL OF US TOGETHER."

Congratulations to Antonelli Salayon for being one of three winners in DOCOMO PACIFIC's "One Marianas: All of Us Together" Prepaid Card Art Content. About her artwork: "This piece helps to exhibit pride and love for the unique culture and life in the Marianas. Along with other subjects to unify, the proa metaphorically represents the 4 islands, riding the wave together, as a way to show 'we're all in this together.'"

About her artwork: "To represent the theme of 'One Marianas', I decided to incorporate significant aspects of life in the Marianas. Nothing best symbolizes our unique culture and way of life than the latte stone, cultural dancing, and family bonds that bring us together."
